Why We’re Here

Get Loud. Make Art. Take Up Space.

What Happens Here

The performing arts have always had the power to hold radical truth, yet LGBTQ+, BIPOC, disabled artists, women, and other marginalized communities rarely see themselves centered onstage. We're going to change that.

Spectrum Stage was created to intentionally center the artists and stories that traditional arts spaces have too often pushed to the margins. We're carving out and protecting space for work that is bold, heartfelt, and unapologetic.

We’re just getting started. More shows, workshops, and artist opportunities are on the way, with new ways to connect through Spectrum Stage.

STOP KISS by Diana Son

Stop Kiss by Diana Son is a contemporary love story set in New York City. When Callie, a traffic reporter, befriends Sara, a schoolteacher newly arrived from the Midwest, their casual friendship slowly deepens into something more. Just as they begin to understand what that connection means, a violent act changes everything.
